Program Coordinator in Radiology Wanted at Equalis
Equalis ABUppsala län, Uppsala
Previous experience is desired
Do you want to contribute to equal healthcare in Sweden? Equalis is currently looking for a driven program coordinator with a focus on radiology for a permanent position. Are you perhaps our future colleague?
What does the company do?
Equalis is a not-for-profit company whose purpose is to ensure that examinations used in healthcare provide reliable medical diagnostics through external quality assurance and other services. This is a fundamental prerequisite for patients to receive the correct diagnosis and treatment, as well as for equal healthcare throughout the country. The work is conducted by approximately 30 employees at the office in Uppsala, in collaboration with experts from healthcare across the country. Equalis's customers are primarily in Sweden and other Nordic countries.
What will you do?
We are looking for someone who, together with other employees in the department for external quality assurance and development, wants to work to ensure that imaging and functional examinations in healthcare yield results that are equal, accurate, and comparable.
You will work as a program coordinator to develop, implement, and carry out quality assurance programs in collaboration with experts across Sweden. You will evaluate and compare examination results/medical diagnostics at the national level and write reports. The work as a program coordinator is multifaceted, and you are curious and meticulous throughout the process. In the office, we collaborate across departments, and you will also have daily contact with participants, expert groups, sample material suppliers, and, if necessary, representatives from the diagnostics industry.
Additionally, you will arrange training days and expert group meetings with varying numbers of participants at different locations in Sweden. This provides excellent opportunities to network with participants and key individuals in the field. You will work both independently and in teams, and the role offers you the freedom to engage in projects, both internal and external, aimed at achieving Equalis's vision – Together we create reliable medical diagnostics!
Who are you?
It is important that you have good knowledge of clinical work in imaging and functional medicine, and experience in radiology is an advantage. We expect you to have a scientific or other relevant higher education, e.g., biomedical analyst, radiology nurse, hospital physicist, or engineer with several years of professional experience. If you have also been responsible for methods or held similar assignments, that is an advantage.
The role of program coordinator requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will work daily with colleagues in the office, participants in our quality assurance programs, and members of our expert groups. You can express yourself well in speech and writing, primarily in Swedish, but also in some cases in English. You find it easy to build relationships and can work across scientific boundaries, and you are comfortable presenting and conveying Equalis's message in larger contexts.
You have good analytical skills as compiling results and data analysis are central parts of the job. Technical competence is advantageous as processing digital materials from systems within healthcare is part of the tasks.
In this role, you will drive your own projects, which requires you to have leadership skills, be proactive, and be motivated by responsibility. We would like you to have worked in project form before; perhaps you have even worked as a project manager? You must also enjoy independently planning, prioritizing, and executing work against set deadlines and goals. You are motivated by improving routines and processes and appreciate a role where you are given the opportunity to contribute with both your thoughts and actions.
We see our employees as the company's most important resource, and to ensure that we all enjoy working together, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
What do we offer?
· A workplace with a very good atmosphere and joint activities
· Opportunity to work from home up to 50%, when the work allows
· Generous flexible working hours
· Wellness allowance
· Collective agreement including occupational pension
